Drumming is fun. It also is a great discipline for ANY musician to bring them to a deeper level because it hones your rhythm skills. Why is that important? Because the most important foundation of any successful musician is their ability to establish and keep a strong, consistent and steady rhythm. I encourage ALL my students to also take at least a little bit of drumming. The techniques and skills they will learn will be invaluable for them as a musician.
